What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a manual exfoliation treatment.
A sterile, single-use scalpel is used to safely and effectively remove dead skin cells from the top layer of skin (stratum corneum) along with fine, vellus hair from the face (peach fuzz).

Will my facial hair grow back coarser?
No is the simple answer. Your facial hair will not grow back thicker or darker following Dermaplaning. It will grow back exactly as it was before. It is not possible to change the structure of your hair follicle by simply shaving the hair off.
Do I need to do anything different before attending my dermaplaning facial?
No preparation is necessary pre-treatment. If possible, it helps to attend your appointment without makeup; however, we can remove this if that is not possible.
What about aftercare post treatment?
Your skin may be a little red immediately post-treatment, but this will settle within a few hours. Makeup can be applied immediately if required; however, if possible it is best to leave makeup application until the next day in order to allow your skin to fully absorb the serums applied during treatment.
Your skin will be sun sensitive, and we recommend you apply an SPF daily for at least 1-week post-treatment.
What does our Dermaplaning Facial include?
We will cleanse and prepare your skin before performing the dermaplaning exfoliation.
After the dermaplane we will apply a soothing and calming ‘Jelly Peel off Mask’. Whilst this works it’s magic on your skin, we will perform a hand and arm massage or a scalp massage.
Following this you will receive 20 minutes of Dermalux LED Phototherapy. Red and Near Infrared light energy will energise your skin cells, boost collagen and elastin, and increase hydration for smoother, firmer skin.
And finally, we will infuse your skin with a personalised cocktail of medical grade serums. Finishing with a recovery balm and SPF.
