While a health check does not necessarily provide a diagnosis, it can highlight areas that may benefit from further investigation or simple lifestyle changes, helping you take a more proactive approach to your health.
Our private health checks are carried out at our CQC-registered medical clinic in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.
Well Woman Check
Get comprehensive health insights including Personal Health Measurements plus an in depth blood test to check for thyroid function, hormones, vitamins and minerals, and cholesterol.

Well Man Check
Our Well Man Health Check combines personal health measurements with comprehensive blood testing, providing insights into areas including diabetes risk, liver and kidney health, cholesterol, testosterone, nutritional markers and overall wellbeing.
Who is the Well Man Check for?
This all-in-one health check is a quick and convenient way to get your annual health MOT to establish your baseline, track your results over time and take control of your own health and goals.
Our Well Man Check includes the following:
Your Personal Health Measurements
- Height
- Weight
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Waist Circumference
- Hip Circumference
- Waist/Hip Ratio
- Pulse Rate
- Systolic and Diastolic Blood Pressure
- Oxygen Saturation
And a Full and Comprehensive Blood Test covering 49 Biomarkers which will include insights into your liver and kidney function, cholesterol status, nutritional markers, hormone levels, and your risk of gout and diabetes giving you a better picture of your overall health.

Health Checks FAQs
Your results will be collated once your blood test results are received from the laboratory, usually within 3 to 5 working days. You will receive your blood results alongside your health measurements and any relevant recommendations.
Where results indicate that further assessment or investigation may be appropriate, we will advise you of the recommended next steps.
We are unable to perform Health Checks on Fridays or Saturdays due to the laboratory, for blood sampling, being closed over the weekend.
We recommend that your Health Check takes place when any symptoms of short-term illness have settled.
Avoid heavy exercise for 48 hours beforehand.
Avoid fatty foods for eight hours before your test. You do not need to fast.
Do not take Biotin or B12 supplements for 2 weeks prior to your health check. If your B12 is prescribed by a Doctor then please check with them before discontinuing.
For females, we recommend your Health Check to take place two to five days after the start of your period. It can be taken at any time if you do not have periods. Please be aware that Hormonal Contraception can affect the results of your blood test.
