Teenage Skin Clinic

Expert Skin Care for Teenagers (age 13 to 18)

Acne, breakouts and oily skin are a normal part of growing up, but that doesn’t mean they have to be accepted.

For many teenagers, skin concerns can affect confidence, self-esteem and everyday life. Whether it’s persistent acne, blackheads, redness or acne scarring, our experienced clinical team is here to help.

At Aeternum Aesthetics, our dedicated Teen Skin Clinic provides evidence-based assessment, personalised treatment plans and ongoing support for young people aged 13 to 18 years.  Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach, we take the time to understand your teenager’s skin, identify the underlying causes of their concerns and recommend the most appropriate treatment plan.  Our goal isn’t just clearer skin – it’s helping young people build confidence and healthy skincare habits that will benefit them for years to come.

Your Teenage Skin Consultation is £45 and includes a comprehensive assessment, personalised treatment recommendations and, where appropriate, an advanced OBSERV® Skin Analysis. If your teenager purchases medical-grade skincare or begins a course of treatment within 30 days, your £45 consultation fee will be deducted from your first purchase.

WHY CLIENTS CHOOSE AETERNUM

Why Choose A CQC-Registered Clinic?

Choosing treatment for your child is an important decision.

As a CQC-registered, nurse-led medical aesthetics clinic, we provide safe, ethical and evidence-based care in a professional clinical environment.

Parents choose us because we take a measured, honest approach. We won’t recommend treatments that aren’t appropriate, and we’ll always explain the options clearly before any decisions are made.

Our priority is achieving healthy skin in the safest and most effective way possible.

A Personalised Treatment Plan

Not every teenager needs clinic treatments.

In many cases, the biggest improvements come from using the right skincare consistently and understanding how to care for the skin properly.

Depending on your teenager’s individual needs, we may recommend:

  • Medical-grade skincare
  • Personalised skincare advice
  • Chemical peels
  • Dermalux LED Light Therapy
  • Microneedling (for suitable patients with acne scarring)
  • Prescription treatments where clinically appropriate

Every recommendation is made with your teenager’s age, skin condition and long-term skin health in mind.

Frequently Asked Questions

The consultation costs £45. If your teenager purchases medical-grade skincare or starts a recommended course of treatment within 30 days, we'll deduct the full £45 from your first purchase.

Our Teen Skin Clinic is designed for young people aged 13–18 years.

Yes. For patients under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must attend the initial consultation and provide consent where required.

Not necessarily. Many teenagers benefit initially from the correct skincare routine and professional advice. If clinic treatments are appropriate, we'll explain the options and create a personalised plan.

Where clinically appropriate, our Independent Nurse Prescribers can discuss prescription treatment options. If another service is more appropriate, we'll advise you accordingly or recommend that you speak with your GP.

This depends entirely on the condition being treated. Some teenagers respond quickly to skincare alone, while others may benefit from a course of treatments over several months.
